Pattern Description

Bubble was made by Anchor Hocking from 1940-1965. Colors made include Sapphire (light) blue, pink, crystal, Forest Green, green, Royal Ruby, iridescent, Vitrock, white, Desert Gold, Jade-ite, and Lustre. The Sapphire blue and crystal were sold as being heat-proof, but the other colors are not heat-proof. That 8 3/8" berry bowl must have been an extremely popular item - I keep running across it in various colors, with white being prevalent, at the sales I go to.

Detail of Decoration

Bubble looks just like it sounds - each piece has alternating concentric rows of large round bubbles on the outside. The bottoms of the pieces are rayed.
