Pattern Description

Coin Glass was made by Fostoria from 1958-1982. There were many pieces made in this pattern in amber, blue, crystal, green, olive (avocado), and ruby (red). Lancaster Colony (who now owns the old Fostoria moulds) has been remaking some pieces in recent years. This pattern was very popular during the 60's - I remember it well, appearing on coffee tables, kitchen windowsills, and tables in many of the houses I visited.

Detail of Decoration

All of the pieces in this pattern have panels with alternating raised coins on the glass. Older pieces will have frosted coins.
