Pattern Description

Manhattan was made by Anchor Hocking from 1938 to 1943 in crystal, pink, some green, ruby and iridized. In 1987 Anchor Hocking started making Park Avenue, which is a later version of Manhattan, but all the pieces that are newly made have different measurements from the old original pieces.

Detail of Decoration

The Manhattan pattern is crystal clear with striking raised concentric rings around the dishes. It is sometimes called "Horizontal Ribbed."
