Pattern Description

Royal Ruby is a patented color owned by Anchor Hocking, which they started making in 1938. Royal Ruby items were made in several different patterns of glass, including Old Cafe, Coronation, Sandwich, Oyster and Pearl, Queen Mary, and Manhattan. Other pieces not belonging to those patterns were made up through the 1960's.

Royal Ruby additional pieces (not belonging to the patterns listed above) are generally very smooth and sleek, with no designs on them. The striking color and clean modern lines make Royal Ruby still attractive today.
